Billing questions
What exactly do I get during the 7-day trial?
Every Pro feature — full visual diff, API access, webhooks, consent-flow capture and country-level geo-targeting — and captures as often as every hour. Volume runs at Starter limits: 10 sites and 1,500 screenshots/mo. No credit card is required to start, and we do not ask for one when the trial ends.
What happens on the day the trial ends?
Nothing is charged, and there is no free tier: scheduled capture stops. Your account stays open with your sites and settings intact, and certificates you already issued remain permanently verifiable regardless of plan. Captures made during the trial stay stored for a further 7 days, so upgrading in that window keeps the files as well. We email you 3 days before, 1 day before, and on the day itself.
Are certificates issued during the trial real?
Yes. The SHA-256 hash, UTC timestamp and capture metadata are authentic and independently verifiable at /verify, exactly as on a paid plan. The certificate PDF carries a faint EVALUATION watermark and the verification page shows an "issued during evaluation" note until the account upgrades — that is commercial status, not evidentiary status. Upgrading removes both automatically from existing certificates.
Can I change plans anytime?
Yes. Upgrades and downgrades take effect immediately and billing is prorated by Stripe. On a downgrade, sites over the new limit are not deleted — they stay in the account.
What happens if I exceed my limits?
Existing schedules keep running; you cannot add new ones beyond your plan limit until you upgrade or free a slot. We notify you as you approach the limit.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, with no questions asked. Access continues to the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes — a 14-day money-back guarantee on your first payment. Email support@captureze.com within 14 days of being charged and we refund the full amount, with nothing deducted for the captures you already made. We reply within 2 business days. No form, no retention call.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) through Stripe. Card details are handled by Stripe and never touch our servers.
